"Tower of Might"

Films: Ultraman Ginga S The Movie: Showdown! The 10 Ultra Warriors! (2015)

Alias: Etelgar (Etalgar), the Eteldummies (Dark Lugiel, Five King, Dark Mephisto, Alien Sran, Alien Empera, Ultraman Belial)

Type: Alien

Location: Eldritch Location/Civilized Area

Height/Weight: 55 meters and 35,000 metric tons.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: Sometimes, a villain's greatest weapon is fear. And fear comes in many shapes and sizes. But it also helps to mess with everyone's heads in the traditional sense. You make lots of (undeserved) friends that way, and all the hapless beings in the galaxy won't be able to get enough of you. Such is what Etelgar thought before visiting Earth.

History: A vile demonic world-conquering alien, Etelgar's greatest sin was perhaps the time when he manipulated the memories of the alien princess Arena of Planet Zandt, convincing her that his takeover was the work of Ultraman Ginga. With the powerful princess at his side, Etelgar captured many of the Ultramen from the Heisei era, imprisoning them in his massive mobile Space-Time Castle. Soon, he sets his sights on Ultraman Ginga, using the fear of the populace to bring back old foes to torment both him and those who somehow managed to elude his grasp. It will surely be a fight to remember, especially when the other Ultras are inevitably freed.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: After everyone, both Ultra and person, overcomes their imaginary opponents/fears, Ginga and Ultraman Cosmos confront Etelgar on his castle. The fight is arduous, but a couple more super forms later, and not only is the demon alien's grip on Arena's mind released, but he is also obliterated by our heroes, who then destroy his fortress for good measure.

Powers/Abilities: Etelgar can manipulate the fear around him to conjure up whatever anyone, be it an individual or a crowd, dreads the most with his Fear Ray/Blasts. The more fear, the bigger and stronger the illusion is. Most of these illusions are Eteldummies, or fake versions of previous Ultra foes. He can also manipulate memories, has special golden armor to defend him from most attacks, can use his scarf like a bludgeon, fire Etel Centurion rapid-fire blasts, summon an energy shield, instantly transport others to his castle, and can fly.

Weakness: The Eteldummies aren't as completely strong as their real counterparts, and Etelgar can be defeated by beings of equal or greater power.

Scariness Factor: 4-This is an Ultraman villain that practically screams evil. His physical appearance looks like a skeletal golden knight from Hell (even if his shoulder spikes wobble a bit), his powers revolve around what you’re scared of the most (no matter how utterly ridiculous it is), and he can recreate some of the most feared beings the Ultramen have had the misfortune of encountering. Keep in mind that Dark Lugiel, one of the Eteldummies here, was the main antagonist of Ginga's exploits. And Etelgar summoned him with ease! Also, he's an unscrupulous consummate liar.

Trivia: -Etelgar's name comes from "Etanaru", the Katagana for "Eternal".

-According to supplementary material, Etelgar's scared of something too. Namely, the bond between Ultraman and their human hosts. A legitimate fear for any conqueror in this universe, actually.
